Capcom To Announce Big Titles at Tokyo Gaming Show

The Tokyo Gaming Show is the biggest gaming event in Japan and Asia. This provides an opportunity for Japanese gaming companies to showcase their new games or provide updates on their existing videogames.

Capcom have said, they are “Hard at work” on Tokyo Game Show plans. And that several new games will be announced in Japan. The new content that has been hinted are:

Dead Rising 2, Lost Planet 2, and Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

The Tokyo Game Show is scheduled for September 24 to 27. So be sure to check it out.

Koller Confirms Backward Compatibility Not Returning

Before announcing the new PS3 Slim model, there were several speculations regarding the backward compatibility.. However, Sony was quick to respond to these false reports..

John Koller, Sony’s Director of Hardware Marketing finally put the rumors to rest. 

John Koller revealed that “It’s not coming back, so let me put that on the table…It’s not as big as a purchase intent driver as you may be hearing. We’ve got such a substantial lineup of titles on the PS3; most people are buying the PS3 for PS3 games. They’re buying it for PS3 games and Blu-ray movies.”

John Koller stated as his final note, “[Backwards compatibility] won’t be returning.”
