Saved Private Ryan (Bronze)

Save the soldier before he burns to death.

On the first mission – ‘Semper Fi’, once you’ve killed most of the soldiers Private Ryan will come running and take cover behind a load of crates in the center of the area. A couple of extra troops will pop up, so kill them quickly. After that, you’ll continue onto another wooden plank pathway. There is a hut to the right hand side. This is where you’ll need to save Private Ryan. As you are passing by the hut, there will be a man on fire that runs out of the hut. Kill this man. That will stop Private Ryan from catching fire therefore saving his life! Trophy unlocked!

Weapon of Mass Destruction (Bronze)

Radio in a naval bombardment that kills at least 4 Japanese soldiers.

At the beginning of the level, you will find an MG nest and a ton of soldiers are suppressing you. You are given a radio that can call in artillery barrages every 20 seconds or so. First, take out the MG nest – this is to make sure you don’t get killed so quickly. Once you’ve done that, just look for a group of four soldiers somewhere and call in a barrage on them. If you can’t get it here, then you can wait until later in the level You’ll be in a building with two mounted MGs, and outside are a lot of enemies ready to shoot at you. Drop a barrage on them and then they will be killed. If you hadn’t done it before you should get the trophy now.

Lights Out! (Bronze)

In ‘Black Cats’, blast out all of the spot lights in the Japanese cargo convoy. (Solo only)

In the ‘Black Cats’ mission there are 3 Japanese merchant ships that you have to destroy that are lined up. At the front and back of each ship, there is a spotlight. Take out the six spotlights before the ships are through and you’ll unlock this achievement. If you missed a spotlight at any point before the last pass of the ships, you can complete it at this point still, but the shells do a lot more damage to the ships as they can blow them up. Simply blowing up the ships does not count towards the trophy. Therefore, you might want to consider restarting from your last checkpoint.

Rough Economy (Bronze)

Kill 3 enemies with a single round.

The best way to do this is outside the building that’s mentioned at the end of the Weapon of Mass Destruction trophy. Wait for three troops to line up, use a sniper for a headshot.

Guardian Angel (Bronze)

In the final battle for Okinawa, save Sergeant Roebuck.

This trophy is unlocked in the “Breaking Point” mission. As you go through the level, you’ll eventually get to a point where you find some Japanese soldiers that look like they are going to surrender. As Polonsky and Roebuck move closer to them to take them captive, the soldiers start struggling and steal their weapons. Now you have Polonsky on the left side and Roebuck is on the right side – one of these two has to die. You will have to kill the Japanese soldier that is grabbing Roebuck’s weapon. In turn, Polonsky will die but at least you get the trophy.

Close Shave (Bronze)

Survive a banzai attack. (Solo only)

When a Japanese soldier runs up to you trying to bayonet you, press R3 and shove it into his neck!

Snake in the Grass (Bronze)

Take out a Japanese soldier lying in wait in the grass.

The easiest mission to get this trophy is “Hard Landing”. You can do this and the ‘No Safe Place’ trophy on this mission. It’s about the middle of the level. You’ll hear a soldier tell you that there is a hike ahead of you until the next objective. When you are running down a sandy road you’ll see a load of palm trees ahead of you. In the grass there is a Japanese troop, safest option is to throw a grenade.

No Safe Place (Bronze)

Burn an enemy out of a tree with the flamethrower in ‘Hard Landing’.

The first tree near where you killed the soldier in the grass has a sniper up it. Just run up to the tree on the right and burn it with a flamethrower, killing the enemy.

Purple Heart (Bronze)

When staring into the face of adversity, show courage and persevere.

The best way to get this trophy is die at the same checkpoint 10 times and the trophy will unlock.

Ruthless (Bronze)

Kill 15 enemies while mounted on a tank in ‘Ring of Steel’.

In ‘Ring Of Steel’ near the end of the level, you will see two tanks. Get in the first one and kill 15 enemies.

Mortar-dom (Bronze)

Kill 8 Japanese with thrown mortars in ‘Breaking Point.

This trophy is unlocked in the “Breaking Point” mission. Just before you enter the castle, there are three mortar pits that you need to clear. Once you’ve done this you’ll find some boxes that have mortar shells in them. They can be used as grenades and be thrown at your enemies. Kill eight Japanese with them but make sure you’re careful as they can kill you too!

Shot in the Dark (Bronze)

Kill 10 enemies while the lights are out in the subway in ‘Eviction’.

In ‘Eviction’, near to the end whilst you are in the subway, the lights will go on and off every now and again. When the lights are out kill as many people as you can. Once you’ve killed ten this trophy will unlock.

Blue Ribbon (Bronze)

Complete a 4-player Competitive Co-Op match in 1st place. (Online co-op Only)

This is the same, as ‘Get Your Right Foot Wet’ except you must win. There also must be three other players with you.

Get Your Left Foot Wet (Bronze)

Complete a match in Campaign Co-Op mode. (Online co-op only)

Complete a match in Campaign Co-Op mode. Don’t worry, you don’t have to win just finish a game.

Get Your Right Foot Wet (Bronze)

Complete a match in Competitive Co-Op mode. (Online co-op only)

Complete an online match in Competitive Co-Op mode you don’t have to win just complete one.

Carlson’s Raiders (Silver)

Complete ‘Semper Fi’ on any difficulty. (Solo only)

Complete the first mission on any difficulty.

Stormed Peleliu (Silver)

Establish a beachhead at Peleliu Island on any difficulty. (Solo only)

Complete the mission on ‘Relentless’ and this trophy will pop up.

The Last Stand (Silver)

Survive the conflict in Okinawa on any difficulty. (Solo only)

Complete the mission ‘Breaking Point’ and this trohpy will unlock.

Stabbed in the Heart (Silver)

Complete all missions on the Eastern Front on any difficulty. (Solo only)

Complete the last mission and trophy will unlock.

The Professional (Silver)

Shoot all of Amsel’s henchmen, including their attack dog, without reloading. (Solo only)

This trophy is unlocked at the beginning of the “Vendetta” mission. Reknov’ll give you a sniper rifle. You will need to use it to take out all the guards, as well as their dog. Reknov will tell you to wait for the planes to fly overhead and start the bombing. This is so your shots won’t be heard. The gun only carries five bullets before reloading, but there are six guards plus the dog. First, snipe the guard in the middle with a center mass shot. Then, go for the two guards on the right by lining them up. Then shoot the front guard in the head. This shoot will take care of the other guard as well. Now you’ll go for the left guards. Wait for one of the guards to line up his thigh with the other guard’s head, then shoot the front guard level with the back guard’s head. Once you kill all of these guards, another guard and a dog will show up down the middle in the distance. You can snipe the dog and then the guard.

Gunslinger (Silver)

Assassinate General Amsel with a pistol shot. (Solo only)

This trophy is also in “Vendetta” mission. It’s a long distance between you and Amsel. This can take several tries, but with some patience and a steady aim you should get this! First, you’ll need a pistol. There is a table with a Walther on it. Then, you’ll get to a point where Reknov has you standing at a window and you are waiting for Amsel to walk out with some bodyguards. He will come out and hide behind a tank. A sniper will pop out from behind that tank to kill you. Make sure you take him out first. If you then keep your gun in the same spot that you were when headshot the sniper, you can headshot Amsel as well.

Grave Robber (Silver)

Collect all Death Cards in the game. (Solo only)

Throw a Six and a Half (Silver)

On Hardened or Veteran difficulty, complete a level without dying. (Solo only)

This is easiest on “Eviction” on Hardened. It is just a case of being careful. Make sure you are good at using the left trigger “auto-aim”. This helps! Carry an automatic weapon as well as a rifle as it will help with switch-off needs. Other than that, take your time and you’ll get the trophy. Shamefully, if you die… you’ll have to do it ALL again.

Firestarter (Silver)

Complete a level using only the flamethrower. (Melee, grenades & explosives are OK.)

The easiest mission to do it on is “Burn ‘Em Out”. You are given the flamethrower from the start. Use your melee attack, grenades, explosives, and flamethrower to complete the level and get your trophy.

Kamikaze (Silver)

Complete a level on Regular difficulty or higher using only melee or grenades. (Solo only)

This is easiest to do on “Semper Fi”. Grenades are not always in high supply so this can be quite hard. “Semper Fi” is a very easy of a level and is perfect for this trophy.

Iron Fist (Silver)

Destroy all towers and bunkers in ‘Blood and Iron’.

In ‘Blood and Iron’ destroy all bunkers and towers and before you complete the level. Make sure they are all destroyed and this trophy will unlock.

Sum of All Zeros (Silver)

Down 45 Japanese Zeros in ‘Black Cats’. (Solo only)

This trophy is achieved in the “Black Cats” mission. Most of the Zeros are in the distance and hard to aim and get at. However, they are everywhere, and it will take a few tries to get this completed. Avoid picking up survivors because the good Zeros to shoot down are the ones when you have to pick up a survivor so don’t do it!

Hardened War Hero (Gold)

Complete the game on Hardened or Veteran difficulty. (Solo only)

Complete the game in single player on Hardened or Veteran and this trophy will unlock.

War Hero (Gold)

Complete the game on any difficulty. (Solo only)

Complete the game on ANY difficulty and this trophy will unlock.

Platinum (Platinum)

Awarded when you unlock all other trophies.
